She finds a wayward stick, sharpening the end to a fine point. Placing it against the bow string, she takes a deep breath and draws back. She finds her target and aims.
Closing her eyes, she releases. The nearest star falls.

I really enjoyed this, except for the hair, which will be reworked at some point. Comments and crits are welcome and appreciated!
This is meant to be viewed on a black background. BTW
Thanks for looking!

EDIT: Fixed somethings, still working! Colors are much better now.
Wow really neat. You have the whole moonlight thing going very strongly. I think, compositionally, there could be a little more space on the left. Her arms seems a little cropped in there and it restricts the feeling of the tension that arm would have. The highlight on the straight arm could be varied a little. As it is now, it's a bit sausagey looking without much muscle definition of indication of the structure below. The arrow might hide some of that, but there could be more information in the light about where the inside of the elbow is. The light should fall slightly different there to show the contour. A little more definition of her right (our left) wrist wouldn't hurt either. The arm sort of melds into the hand there. Over all the lighting is definitely the strength in this image; you really nailed it as far as I'm concerned. The star field and grass are just wonderful. Did you start on a black ground?
Thanks for your crits, you've really pointed out some things that were bothering me. But now I can fix them! I think I just totally forgot to finish the arms at all.... xD.
I actually started this piece out on a medium grey-blue as an experiment. Technically I never used a straight 'black' or 'white' for anything in this. That was part of the experiment. If it was viewed on a true black background you would be able to tell.
Anywho, thanks for faving it! Much love. <3

Your coloring is solid as always. Beautiful ambient lighting. My only comments would be on the anatomy and definition on her arms which *SenshiStock summed up very well. More life drawing and sketching from photo ref, will strengthen that. Overall, you've made an impressive start with alot of potential that just needs just a bit more brush time.

Expect and updated version in a couple of days.

Beautiful use of lighting - this oozes mood. As for crits - I would just echo what was said above - some more muscle definition, especially in her arms / collar region, would really make this stand out.
